The Landshare DAO is now only a few days away, and with it comes a token migration! Using the new migration page, holders will be able to exchange their LAND V1 for LAND V2 directly at a 1 to 1 ratio. The migration page will make the entire process simple, with only 4 steps required to go from V1 staking to V2 staking. All in all, the process will only take a few minutes.
This article will help provide information on how you can prepare for the new token launch. The Landshare DAO, new vaults, and token migration page will all go live at the same time. When will the DAO and token migration launch?
The official launch is scheduled for 7 PM UTC on March 16th. Once the launch is complete, the DAO will become operational immediately, and the migration page will be live.
Please note that the NFT page will undergo a scheduled maintenance when the update goes live and will be unavailable during this time. Investments in the dashboard will also be temporarily unavailable during the migration period.
Where do I migrate my tokens?
We want to make the migration process as simple and painless as possible. Our new migration page will take you through the process step by step, all the way from staking your V1 tokens to staking your V2 tokens with no interruptions. Please see the guides below for each type of migration:
If your tokens are on Gate.io, they will automatically be migrated, and no action is required on your part.
NOTE: The only official migration page is https://app.landshare.io/migration. Please verify the URL and do not try to migrate your tokens through any other means!

Tip #1:
Add the new token contract address to your wallet ahead of time to be able to see your tokens in your wallet after migration.

Tip #2:
Check the current price on both sides before migrating LAND Tokens. You may be able to find a better deal by arbitraging rather than migrating directly. Slight price discrepancies between the two LAND tokens could occur and lead to extra opportunities for keen users!
For example, if the V1 token is priced at $1.80/LAND and the V2 token priced at $1.78/LAND, an individual could sell their LAND V1 and buy LAND V2 instead of migrating, earning a slight profit in the process.
Tip #3:
When unpairing and recreating LP, the migration page has slippage set at 1% to decrease front-running bots. In some cases, this could cause the step process to fail. If you are migrating a large number of LP tokens, encounter slippage-related errors on the migration page, or wish to have slippage set to a number other than 1%, we recommend using Pancakeswap to remove the liquidity as well as add the new liquidity.

What will happen to V1 staking? Will I lose rewards if I don’t migrate right away?
To ensure everyone has enough time to perform the migration and not lose out on staking rewards, the V1 vaults (Auto LAND and Staking V3) will continue to produce rewards for roughly 48 hours after the migration takes place on March 16th. After which, reward generation will be shut off, but existing rewards will be available indefinitely.
How will migration work for token holders on Gate.io?
The Landshare team is working with Gate.io and users will automatically have their tokens that are held on the exchange migrated, there is no action exchange users are required to take.

What happens if I don’t migrate?
If you do not migrate your tokens, you will be unable to participate in future platform features. Your tokens are not at risk, but you will not be able to stake in any of the current vaults, continue earning staking rewards, participate in the Landshare DAO, or purchase Tokenized Assets. It is highly recommended for all users to migrate their tokens at their earliest convenience. However, there is no deadline, and you will be able to migrate your tokens at any time in the future.
Will CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko, etc. be updated with the new token information?
The Landshare team is reaching out to various coin tracking websites such as Coinmarketcap, Coin Gecko and BSC Scan as well as prominent wallet apps to get the token updated with the correct V2 information. While we hope to see every token tracker and wallet app updated quickly, it may take some time for all of them to be updated based on each platform’s process.
